Jim Knox Will Serve as Senior Vice President, Managing Director
ORLANDO, FL - July 7, 2008 - Connextions, Inc. announced today that it has hired Jim Knox to serve as Senior Vice President, Managing Director, with responsibility for new business development across the company's commercial and healthcare divisions. Mr. Knox brings 20 years of experience to this role, having served in numerous executive and senior sales positions during his career.
Most recently, Mr. Knox was Vice President, Client Executive for TeleTech, where he delivered more than $150 million in revenue to the company. Previously, he was Director of Sales at Convergys Corporation, where he managed that company's largest technology client. Prior to that, Mr. Knox was Vice President of Sales for Ikano Communications, Inc., a privately-held Internet service provider, where he assisted in securing the two largest accounts in the company's history. He has also served in a number of other senior management and director positions with a focus on sales.
Mr. Knox was also President and CEO of MergeMedia Group, a company he co-founded. He has served as a board member for a number of community outreach organizations, and has won a number of professional sales awards. Mr. Knox attended the University of Arkansas.
